There’s isn’t a ton of footage available in the latest DiRT 3 trailer to come speeding onto the scene, but there’s certainly enough to get this fan’s heart racing. Featuring only about 30 seconds of actual gameplay, the video shows off a bunch of sleek and sexy motors drifting around tight corners, kicking up plenty of sand, and ‘doughnuting’ like a trouper. The visuals really are looking quite striking and I’m hoping that the game will be able to really test our hardware when it’s released on PC this month.

DiRT 3 is sheduled for a global release on May 24, 2011. If you fancy sampling the excellent predecessors to this title, DiRT 2, then you can always pick up a copy from either of Amazon’s US or UK branches nice and cheap.
