Nothing worse than getting a game you’ve been waiting for only to find that your beloved rig can’t quite handle it. Well it turns out that The Witcher 2 has things pretty well sorted even if you don’t own a beast to run it. The system requirements are not so greedy that you’ll find yourself having to upgrade parts of your PC and a mid-range set up will run it quite comfortably.
Recommended specs:
- Processor: Intel Quad Core or AMD equivalent
- Graphics Card: Nvidia GeForce 260, 1 GB memory / Radeon HD 4850 with 1 GB memory
- Memory: 3 GB for Windows XP / 4 GB for Windows Vista and Windows 7
- Hard Disk: At least 16 GB of free space
Minimum specs:
- Processor: Intel Core 2 Duo 2.2 GHz or AMD equivalent
- Graphics Card: Nvidia GeForce 8800, 512 MB memory or ATI equivalent
- Memory: 1 GB for Windows XP / 2 GB for Windows Vista and Windows 7
- Hard Disk: 8 GB for the game installation and 8 GB for bonus materials
Obviously make sure you do check beforehand that your computer can run at minimum if nothing else but it would seem that unless you own something you have to wind up at the back, you shouldn’t run into too many issues if any.
