It’s seeming as though you’ll be able to get by with some very modest components powering your PC, to be honest. Bulletstorm certainly isn’t going to require a GeForce GTX 580 in a Tri-SLI configuration just to hover around the 60FPS mark, unlike, say, Metro 2033. So, no worries on that front.
Epic Games were kind enough to share the details in their official company forums late last night. Here’s what sort of hardware we’re looking at right now:
Recommended system requirements
- CPU: Intel Core2 Quad (AMD alternative not disclosed)
- RAM: 2GB
- GPU: Nvidia GeForce GTX260 (512MB) or ATI Radeon 4870
- HDD: 9GB free hard-drive space
- OS: Windows XP (SP3), Windows Vista (SP2), or Windows 7
Minimum system requirements
- CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo or AMD Athlon X2
- RAM: 1.5GB
- GPU: Nvidia GeForce 7600 GS (256MB) or ATI Radeon 2400 Pro
So, yeah, looks like the majority of us with fairly up to date hardware will be able to max this puppy out at full HD resolution with no problems at all.
