Regardless of our cravings to climb into the armour of one of LV-426′s finest marines, we’re going to have to hold off just a little bit longer, given the fact that the official release date for Aliens: Colonial Marines has scuttled its way off into Autumn. We were more than a little excited to get our hands on the upcoming xenomorph-shooter from Gearbox Software and SEGA; you could say we were Hicks-static. Guffaw.

Unfortunately, the reasoning behind the game’s lengthy delay has not yet been officially revealed. Rumours suggest that the development team were captured by an infestation of aliens which were living in a hive situated under their Texas-based offices. Whatever the reason, we’ll just have to wait for the game to gestate that little bit longer.
